REFLECON TARNISH 13

REFLECON® Tarnish scanning spray has been developed to dull reflective, mirrored, transparent or dark surfaces for use with 3D optical measurement techniques (known as laser scanning).

3D laser scanning enables fast, precise and non-contact measurement of complex geometries. To achieve optimal results on challenging surfaces, a scanning spray is applied beforehand.

Features:

- Volatile matting agent for optical 3D laser scanning

- Sublimation time: 12–24 hours, depending on the object, temperature and environment

- Suitability for lacquer coatings and plastics: limited (for further details, see product information)

- Solvent-based

- Sweetish odour

- Excellent wetting characteristics on the specified surfaces

- Labelling: see safety data sheet (available on request)

- Surface like “3D ice flakes” on the object

- Powder layer sublimates and evaporates without residue

- No post-cleaning of parts or surfaces required

- No dust residue during spraying - protects the fan of laser equipment

- Very good adhesion and removability of marker points on the matting layer at average thickness
